The Moto G Power 5G handles Android well with good processing power. The unlock feature is a thumb print on the power button with a PIN as a backup. On occasion the thumb print will not read due to angle of finger and the PIN screen pops up. Quick response from touch screen. Battery lasts me 2 days minimum. Phone comes unlocked which makes it easier to switch carriers or SIM cards, plus it does not have the bloatware from providers. BlueTooth pairs up easily with earbuds. Not many ringtones available but more available online (more of an Android thing). It is much less expensive than other brands and has most of the same tech. Best value in phones.I have never had to replaced a Motorola phone because it had stopped working, and this is my 4th Motorola, because they have lasted. Do not have to replace phone for 3-5 years until you want to upgrade tech. Would recommend Moto G Power 5G.

One thing I especially like about this phone is the fingerprint sensor in the button rather than on the screen at the time I purchased it I didn’t know if I would enjoy that or not I never had one before that didn’t have to fingerprint sensor on the screen I’ve learned a lot since then and I’ve come to the conclusion happening on the side of the phone is the only way to go just so much more convenient to use your thumb or forefinger on it then it is to put it on the right spot on the screen until one uses it you find out it’s much more natural to touch the side of the phone than the face

I’m simple when it comes to tech. I’ve been using Moto phones for many years. This is a good phone. Only had it a few days, but it’s been great without problems. Everything transferred well without problems. Also affordable! Would recommend.

My previous cell phone was a Motorola. I used that phone for over 3 1/2 years and finally had to give it up when the screen was shattered by accident. After such a good experience with a Motorola phone for several years, I decided to replace my old Motorola with a newer one.Maybe my expectations were wrong to begin with. I thought spending $300 on a cell phone would be sufficient to get a ‘decent’ cell phone. Apparently, Motorola considers $300 to be something just above ‘entry level’.From the first day of use I found reasons to dislike this phone:1) There’s no way to turn it off. I simply can’t understand what use case Motorola was trying to satisfy here. Sometimes you just want to turn your phone off, or at least, reboot it.2) Phone freezes – I’ve had a few instances where the phone has frozen for over 2 minutes. A few times I’ve just given up and did a hard reset on the phone. A new phone shouldn’t have this behavior.3) Screen scrolling – The scrolling of the screen isn’t smooth. My old Motorola would smoothly scroll in applications. This one is no where near as smooth.4) Battery life – While it’s not bad, it’s not great either. I can go two days between full charges.5) Low power charger – Motorola decided to include a lower wattage charger in the package instead of a larger sized charger that would recharge the phone more rapidly.6) Finger print scanner – After one of my more recent hard resets due to freezing up, the finger print scanner failed to recognize two of my fingers for about 2 days. Nothing was unusual with my fingers, they’re the same ones I’ve had all my life. After two days, it just started working again. While none of these ‘issues’ are deal breaking, combined together they just irritate me.Take my advice, spend a little more money and get something better.

The Motorola G Power 5G is a good phone for the price. I wouldn’t call it a very high end phone, but it definitely meets my needs. I use my phone for emails, texts, and calls. I almost never use the phone to search the web. It comes with a bit more bloatware than it should have, but I was able to remove mose of it.The phone is 5G, that’s nice for the price point. It has a very good camera that I enjoy using. For someone like myself who wants a phone in their pocket and not a computer this is a very good phone.I do recommend the phone.

This phone replaced my iPhone at an astonishing discount. I still have my 256gb of storage. But now I can add up to another 1000gb of storage if I choose to. And it runs on 5g networks. The display is great at 120hz. Gaming on this device is phenomenal. Plus it doesn’t get overheated. My favorite old school feature is the fact that it has a headphone jack. Greatest phone ever!!!

I bought this as an entry level phone. It has all the features I care to use at an extremely reasonable price. So far it works fine however one issue is the thump release to activate the phone. It doesn’t work for me but that’s OK…I prefer using a pin — better security.

I was really surprised when I read all the negative reviews about not being able to turn off the phone with one touch or the phone having a lot of “crap” that you cannot uninstall. I was able to uninstall every app I did not need (there were a few of those). You can swipe down the screen and there is your power button with the option of restart, power off, lockdown, or emergency. In September 2022 I bought a Moto G Power 2022 with 128 gigs. Now I gave it to my husband because he really needed a new phone, and got myself a Moto G Power 2023. To tell you the truth, I did not see any difference except for the 256 gigs, so if 128 gigs are enough for you, you can get a 2022 model. I have not tried out the camera yet. It may be better than the 2022 model. In general, I trust Motorola and have been happy with their phones for at least 4 -5 years.

So far very satisfied. For me, this was a step down from a Oneplus 11, but I am not a power user (games, video, content creator) and decided I would go with the savings. Initially, I thought it was a huge step-down, but then I went through the Moto program for setup and began to see various options that the initial setup had not uncovered, or I did not understand. Sometimes it helps to read the instructions.
